Purdue Hilltop Apartments, originally built in the 1960s, feature the original cast-in-place concrete structure which serves as the exterior landings for access to three levels of apartments at each of five buildings.
Enginuity provided full service design and management of this structural renovation project, beginning with conducting a field investigation of damaged and deteriorating areas of the elevated stair landing structure, which includes elevated slabs, beams and girders.
Our next step was the evaluation of repair options and development of repair plans and details.
We worked closely with the contractor and Owner throughout the construction process to minimize change orders and ensure quality repairs were provided to help extend the useful life of this student housing facility.
